| Short Description of the organisation | Based in Barcelona, the Association of Human Rights Educators supports since 2009 initiatives and educational programmes based on the principles of Children Rights, bridging organisations working with children and the formal education sector. AHEAD works as well on close cooperation with the local and regional administration and the Education and pedagogical faculties of Universities around Europe. The Association is the editor of the Manual on Children Rights education of the Council of Europe in Barcelona and has published several educational materials on this field. |
